Starting in radio as a technician at the CBC network center in Vancouver, Jim Morrison became a “DJ” at CKWX, produced radio documentaries for the United Church of Canada, made short films, recreated baseball games live-to-air with Canadian sportscasting legend Jim Robson, "boss-radio"’d at CKLG, wrote and delivered newscasts at ‘WX, hosted music shows on "Super-Country", and wound up his live radio career with a morning show at CJAZ/KISS-FM in Vancouver (now the notorious JACK-FM). Jim hosted the nightly 6pm CBC-TV EVENING NEWS in Calgary for a year before becoming a CBC-TV Producer/Director. He left the Corp to build Video Publications Limited, a pioneer company in video EFP (Electronic Field Production) in Alberta. He has produced several record albums (including THE ECSTASY OF RITA JOE with Ann Mortifee, Paul Horn and Chief Dan George), designed and built professional audio recording equipment, and co-created a marine electronics manufacturing company. Over the past 20 years Jim has created hundreds - no, thousands - of video productions, including sales presentations, training programs and television commercials. He also designs and creates very effective websites for his clients, most of which feature video pages.
